Beta test today, is it the due date for our installation. Lecturers want us to finish 100% so that we know what our possibility. With the full installation we can get more qualified beta feedback from the invite guest.
I told the group member to wake up and meet up at my place so that we can move the boat to the IIS room. I wore t-shirt to carry the boat and equipment to the IIS room because i know will sweating a lot. When i reached i try set up everything first. I start by placing the boat on the correct spot. Then we start to bring out the projector and computer. After placing everything i try to check what are the thing i lack of so that i bring it when i go back to change. So after checking, i list down the things i need to bring from home and buy from vision art.
After placing everything in the IIS room then i rush back to my place to take a shower and change then i bring tina, screwdriver, electric drill and masking tape. Then i rush back to IIS to continue the setup again. I go buy another spare masking tape just in case it finish.
I first try to put the project cable to go through the wire's hole but the problem is the hole is too small. So i use the electric drill to make it bigger. I place everything on right place then i start to use masking tape to hide the wires. I use glue tag to stick the flex sensor box at the paddle spot. After that, i go on check on Gerry progress on the animation and seem like it is not ready yet. So i go check out on Kah Suit and Leon see what can they do. While i doing the logistic's thing, I tell Leon to create the survey for people to write down their comment because we are thing there will be some student come in and test. Then i ask Kah Suit to refine some graphic and create a new info graphic for the animation. Beside getting the emotion from the animation, they also can get some facts and static from the info graphic. Then i go check on Gerry progress which don't really look good. So i call him to remove the tiger since and merge it into the rhino scene so he no need to animate so many things and i try to do a finishing for animation so i come with fast contingency plan to solve the problem. I ask Kah Suit to create a sign board asking people donate and help in the ending and use the jetty i propose last time to show the user actually reach the city scene to show the jungle had already had been destroy.
Then i continue on my progress, take the cloth that i ask Jeremy bring for me to think what i can do with it and i realised that the boat seat is not the comfortable to seat. So i fold the cloth and place it and the seat. After Kah Suit and Leon finish their works, i ask a flavor from Leon to help us buy lunch so other can focus on their work. I asked Kah Suit to help me design a sign to show where are the place are fragile so i can print out and stick on the spot. I also create foot step sign to show where to place their foot.
After that i continue on masking taping the wires. After the sign is print out is stick on the spot i wanted. Then the boat almost ready just want for the animation to finish so that i can try it but is almost the time for presentation and we don't even have time to test run. While waiting me and Kah Suit rush to daiso to buy a RM5 pillow for the seat so it feel more comfortable. When we reach back Gerry say he done what he do already and there are only 30 minutes left. And we are trying to connect the cable i realise that the cable is too short and do anything due to the time. So i just place the console and the side first and use thing to make it higher. We quickly try to do test run to test is that any error because the outcome is more important. I found out that are a lot of errors. i quickly ask Gerry to fix the major one before the beta test. But is too late.

After this, we start our presentation and we are the second group and during that time i kind of report our problem to Jazmi about the cable and problem. But the presentation still go on and leon prepare the element that are gone in the animation at the side to show after the presentation. So i present the slide in front of all the guest lecturer because other don't really have time prepare for the presentation even myself. I use my own experience of how i present to client during my internship in event company to make the installation look better. During the Q&A me and leon answer most of the question and feedback and due the unfinished product we cannot really get more quality feedback and we didn't really use the survey form also because there are only guest lecturer that come and give us feedback and score.
After the presentation and feedback this is something that we list down for refinement and thing we can consider to change.

After that we wait for the whole exhibition to end then we have a sharing about the presentation and what we learn through the beta test. During that time i am kind of emotion because as a leader i didn't push my team far enough to finish the product on time. And during most of the meeting i am the one that gave most of the idea which as a leader i don't have the ability to involve my team to share their idea.
Then i start to clean up our stuff and wait for fiona to collect the equipment for us. And we can only collect after semester break. So i tell my group to enjoy their sem break and when we come we need to do some refinement. I also tell gerry that to try to find out the bugs. Then we all went back to rest and continue on other subject assignment.
