Today is the final exhibition, we meet at IIS around 1030. I brought my camera, the arduino, the speaker, earphone and my laptop. I call gerry to bring the projector stand to the college. Since i am a bit late i call to tell Leon to buy mounting board and uhu gum so that i can build the box for the projector and some to cover the plug point.

I went to IT to collect the key and straight rush to the IIS room. I open the cupboard and bring out the thing that we wanted to use then i start to setup the installation while Gerry is still fixing the animation.
I start to put up the projector and to fit the cable through the holes that are special made to hide the wires. But the holes is a bit small for the connect point of the VGA cable so i use a knife to craft and make the holes bigger after that i stick the arduino box. Then i build the cover for the projector. After building the projector cover, i connect the cable to projector and start to tape the wires with masking tape. Then i borrow Gerry laptop to project some on the wall to check whether the projection was ok or not. We also text on the arduino check whether the arduino is working.

After that i set up the speaker and did a box to cover the extension plug point. After everything was settled, i ate my lunch and check on the proposal so that it can be printed to show the guests when they arrive. Then Kah Suit and Leon went to print it out.  I carry on placing the white cloth on the boat to form a seat for the guests. Then i go check on the animation that Gerry had finish and i saw the font and the infographic is a bit too fast so i told him to refine the speed then we do a test run again. Due to beta experience i need to do a few time of test run to confirm the animation is ok. Are we tried for three or four the full course with the help of our classmate which turn out everything fine. Then i start to masking tape the wires on the floor.

At 330pm the guests come to visit our exhibition and i represent my team to present and answer most of the question that are given and Kah Suit was in charge of taking down the comment and feedback and other group help us to record down our presentation with camera. Everything went smooth just the sound effect at the fire scene suddenly went burst and thanks to my experience in event i quickly soften the sound effect.

After that i am in charge to take photograph for the whole exhibition.

After the presentation is over. We gathered to had a sharing with the lecturer and I share my experience while being a leader and what had i learn throughout this installation. And i also help the class to ask for peers evaluation form for the class. After that some of friend in Graphic Design class come to pay a visit. We show what our installation is about and shoot some video to compile into our documentation.

We end up clearing out installation at 6pm. After clearing everything we took some group photo and class photo.

After dinner, i start to upload the photo i took to facebook so every other team can grab for their team documentation.

Today we need to return everything to Fiona. And i made an appointment with Fiona at around 2 oclock. After class me and jeremy rush off to meet a client that are interest to ask us to create a website. And end up coming back late, while i arrived my team had already return the equipment. Before that i ask Kah Suit to take the peer evaluation form from the server.

Then the next thing is to move back our boat. We carry down the boat the first floor and i ask Gerry and Leon to carry the body of the boat back to my place first since it is going to rain and i will wait for Kah Suit car to fit in the boat's hear, the projector stand and the paddle. And luckily Kah Suit small little myvi just enough to fit those things. And while i went into the car it start to rain heavily, Kah Suit and me start to worry about Gerry and luckily they already arrived at home. I unload everything from Kah Suit car under the rain because i don't have any extra hand to hold an umbrella.

During the night, i post to ask my teammates to meet up at the library at 11am so that we can submit our documentation to the server.

I uploaded all the photo and sketches i had to the facebook page because is in charge of organizing the photo.

We meet up in library and i go through the proposal for the last time and i ask Leon and Shabu to print out the photo and stick the sketch on the proposal so that we can submit. After printing and binding Kah Suit burn the document into a DVD and i fill up the CD cover and assignment cover sheet. When everything done, we submit our self evaluation and peer evaluation to the server. Then we pass up our proposal to Shahnim and sign the submission form in front of MM department.

Tuesday, I reply on Fiona to confirm that the equipment we wanted through email.

Come back after two week of rest, I got roughly an idea what should the interactive installation should be refine on. So first of all, i start to think on the big image how the installation need to refine for the exhibition. And base on the beta comment the most important thing we get was the audience or participant cannot get the information through the journey due the animation is not complete and the animation glitch that affect the whole use experience.

And base the time we have, the only thing we need to focus and to save the installation is to refine the animation and solve the glitch. And also the wiring too, although the lecturer did not comment much about that.

So during wednesday, we went early to IIS to check whether our boat is still in one piece. When every gather, Gerry report that he fix the glitch and the animation is fine now. So i start to tell Gerry what i wanted the flash to look like . First, during the beta test that i wanted to make infographic into two section one is to introduce the animal and second part is the data of the drop animal rates which locate almost around the end. And i asked add in the fire scene because the impact and emotion that presented is not strong enough. Then i also told Kah Suit to do the graphic for the fire scene. Then i tell her how i imagine the fire scene, burning wood , fire and tiger there. She got some rough image in mind then she start draw. Then I tell leon the content leader to find some photo for the infographic in the animation because we got some feedback from the guest lecturer saying we can get some image to put side by side with the animation so that they can get more virtual information.

As for me i will help them like always, and for logistic i need to create a box for the projector and i need to find Fiona for a longer projector cable. Then i need to prepare and Speaker for the exhibition so involve the other audience that watching at the side. And i need to refinement the proposal and compile all the documentation.


Today class we start in the MMLab 4 for class and personal consultation for 2 hours. I share as leader what i tell my team to do and i also share a logistic leader what am i going to do and how many hours to finish it . I share our group progress to the lecturers.

After that, we head into IIS room to do out work and check what do we need to do. And Jazmi and Shahnim help me to find out the equipment room got a 10 meters vga cable for the projector and they ask me to apply from Fiona.

After class we did our work at IIS and i need to collect the equipment from Fiona so we had our lunch then we call Fiona to get our equipment and ask for new equipment . So i collect the equipment and collect the new cable from Fiona and i signed the application paper.After that we start doing our work. I help Kah Suit to do some graphic and Gerry is doing the animation. I also sit down with Leon to talk about progress and our daily blog post. And we type out a google document to share what we had done every week in point form. We also came out a list what we need to put in the document and our proposal. I asked every one them to bring the sketches and photo they took . Beside that i also ask Kah Suit to create a poster by using our landing page in the animation.

Then me and Leon collected all the references we use before to do a harvard references for our project.

After i almost finishing all the graphic, we basically trying to focus on create the animation and the proposal. We refine and add the sketches, references and the photos. After that i adjust the content of the proposal so that we can print tomorrow before the the exhibition. I went to buy some mounting to build the case of the projector and went to print out the A3 and a4 size poster one to stick in front of the IIS one is to place at the boat. Then me and Kah Suit go to check out what is the progress of Gerry. 

After checking the infographic that placing at the city i found out it is a bit weird. So during the night, i told Kah Suit to created some billboard sign that we normally see in the highway. Then we place our infographic on it so it will look better together with the scene.
